- Mr Pitchard: I’ve been working at the Snowdown Hotel since September. Some of my old friends been looking for a job for years, and they still haven’t found one. So I’m lucky.
- Mrs Pitchard: Now that we live up here, I can visit my sister more often. She has been living in Caerna von for six years now.
- Gwen: Welsh is a much older language than English. People have been spaeking Welsh here since the time of King Arthur. Or even before that, I think! We’ve been doing Welsh history for the last few weeks at school.
- Hugh: I’ve been learning Welsh for four years. Now I’m beginning to find it useful. My new friend Owen speaks Welsh at home. He has been speaking Welsh at home. He has been speaking it since he was little! So he can teach me a lot, of cours.And for the last month or so I’ve been listening to more Welsh on TV and radio. Owen’s uncle has been working for Welsh radio since 1993.
